Salary
Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement Officers have a starting salary of $13.58 per hour or roughly $26,500 per year.
Also, effective January 1, 2006, Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement began participation in the Kentucky Law Enforcement Foundation Program Fund (KLEFPF) and will now receive a $3,100 annual training incentive pay stipend.
Upon successful completion of a one-year probation period, officers will receive a 5% increase that will be added to their hourly rate. This also sets the annual increment date for each following year.
